It may be that you have several such things which you could concentrate on, but by selecting just one, you stand a better chance of prevailing. This also helps the changes stick because it is easier to maintain one new habit compared to ten.

Track your progress better through proper organization. By breaking down your goals to its smallest components, you'll find that smaller tasks can be done faster and easier. Keep a journal of your daily progress. You will see how these small steps add up toward reaching your goal.

Learn what others have done that has made them successful. Pay special attention to their mistakes, as well as their overall strategies, so that you don't have to learn the hard way. Knowing that other people have succeeded at the same goal will make it seem more attainable to you.
