How to Change Your Life by Reinventing Yourself, and Not

By Julie M. Mortensen

It seems that every year we all decide to make changes to our lives we consider critical to our success. If you're like me, and you feel you've failed to make all of the changes in your life you want to make, then maybe it's time to change the way you think.Instead of trying to change the world around you, you need to start with the inside and work your way out. By changing from the inside to the outside, you'll create lasting change.

It's really quite simple. You see the Universe is set up to reflect our current belief system. Every belief we have is reflected back to us. If you think that everyone around you is critical and uncaring, you will find yourself very lonely, for that belief will be reflected right back onto you make no mistake about that. In today's economy many believe that 'money is tight' as a consequence they are learning about financial hardship.

However, if we believe that we are blessed in our lives and that more blessings are coming to us every day, then the Universe has a totally different image of our reality and reflects back blessings on a daily basis.

Before you start this plan, you need to decide first what it is you really want. Is it a slimmer body, more money, better relationships? Then write down your goal and be as specific as possible. There are only three major areas of your life where you need to work anyway: finances, health, and relationships. Pick one of those areas, set a goal, and then get to work. Once you have a specific goal in mind, and you know exactly what you want to accomplish, then choose the tools you need to help you reach your goals. Keep it simple. If you try to do too much at one time, you will only get overwhelmed, and you won't do anything.Below are the steps you need to follow:

Now you know what is the problem but knowing about a problem and actually doing something about it are two totally different things. What is needed is a process which will automatically change your belief system to produce positive results.

Motivational material can be anything. If you read the Bible, try reading Psalms and Proverbs for 20 minutes a day. There are also many great authors available that you can read. My personal favorites are Tony Robbins, Lisa Diane, Jack Canfield, and Wallace Wattles, the author of "The Science of Getting Rich".

How to change your life can be seen in different light, you just have to put the time in and discover it, and then get CREATIVE with those discoveries. Realize those inherent gifts you already own and make them work for you in alternative life settings... or, a new career. I can't begin to tell you how many of those we've labeled geniuses have used that creative storyboard scenario to accomplish their goals. Reinvent... and not!

Exercise. No self help plan would be complete without exercise. Exercise gets your blood flowing and will give you more energy. You will feel and look so much better, and if you do something that is high in intensity, then you can get fit as well. My routine generally includes The 5 Tibetan Rites every day, and then alternating between squats one day and pushups the other.
