A Shade On Skateboard For Disabled San Fernando

By Raymond Murray

In the recent past, many organizations have come together to form non-profit programs aimed at impacting the lives of the handicapped children and adults in San Fernando. For this reason, Skateboard for Disabled San Fernando is now a growing sport that has made most maimed kids feel that they can take part in any game that they want. Also, the society is slowly learning to value the disadvantaged people.

The skating competition aims to provide encouragement and motivation to the disabled persons and children to participate in the game with other people. Many disabled children in San Fernando are now attending the weekly classes for the handicapped The game instructors ensure that they have taught the kids on the importance of equality among them.

The biggest challenge that the instructors face is that there is a small number of people that still treat the disadvantaged people with neglect thus making them afraid to mingle with other people. The instructors thus ensure that they have lifted their spirits once more and show them that there is no exclusion when it comes to skating. Also, the instructors encourage kids with no hands and legs to try new tricks while skating just like the rest.

The founders of the non-profit associations have made people understand that they have to change their attitude towards the disadvantaged people or else nothing will change. It is essential to show the handicapped kids that no matter their condition, people still value them so that they can value themselves too. With this, the children will be encouraged to take part in more games.

The instructors are usually very excited to find that some handicapped children have a great desire to skate to the point which they prepare themselves very early on the day of the sports. This is a good sign of positivity among the kids. Other children state that skating makes them happy hence they make a point of participating in all the lessons no matter what.

Integrating the maimed sports program with the typical program has helped all students to treat one another with equality despite their little differences. This has positively impacted the impaired children. Thus they continue to show up for the training lessons. Vast improvement has been seen in these kids due to the effort the instructors are putting in while training them.

Participating in skating has raised the self-esteem of the maimed children. In addition, the fear of inclusion that these kids had is slowly fading away which is a good sign. A lot of people have also seen the importance of integrating these children in many gaming and educational activities in the community.

The reason the non-profit skating program is becoming successful is that their big aim is to train disabled children and let them know that they can take part in any game. Therefore, more and more disadvantaged kids show up for the training each year. Parents that have maimed kids have also started making their children to these programs so that they can also feel compassion thus teaching the children how to live with a disability.
